What do I need before I can start my driving lessons?
you will need to be in possession of a valid UK Provisional license and be 17 years old or over. You may if you wish to apply for it 3 months prior to your 17th birthday, however, it will only be valid once you are 17. If you are disabled and are in receipt of the mobility allowance you may apply for it on or after your 16th birthday.
If you are a foreign national and are living here permanently you will have to exchange your driving license for a provisional license, even if you have a full driving license from your home country you will still be required to pass your UK practical driving license before you are permitted to drive in the UK.
Can Learn to drive before the age of 17?
The answer to this question is Both yes and no, You are not allowed to drive on the public roads before the age of 17 or without a valid provisional driving license and if you are under the age of 17, however, there are some companies who teach people that are much younger, they normally have special venues do so and the venues are not public roads. You can also learn with a relative or a friend if you have some land as long as it is not a public road you are legally allowed to do so.
I Normally wear glasses do I need to bring them to every driving lesson?
Yes, you would. on your very first lesson with us and before any driving commences, we will require you to undergo an eye site check, even if you do not wear glasses or contact lenses it is a good idea to still do the check to insure you are in fact driving legally. So it is essential you bring your glasses/contact lenses if you normally wear them.
2 Are all you your driving instructors in Liverpool fully qualified?
Yes all our Male and female driving instructors in Liverpool are fully qualified, they are all Approved, DVSA registered driving instructors, they are also CRB checked for your safety and follow a strict professional code of conduct.
3 Do I have a choice of Male and Female driving instructor with your company?
Yes you do. For various reasons you may want to learn with either a male or a female driving instructor, we can accommodate for this, just ask us when you make the first driving lessons booking and we will be more than happy to provide a driving Instructor of your choice.
What cars do you have?
Our driving instructors have a different cars, they are all small hatchbacks, come with Dual- controls fitted as standard for your and the driving instructors safety. They are all modern, easy to drive cars, all cars are less than 4 years old.
